Require/requires

Hello There

I have a quick question about my sentence.

Which sentence is a correct one.

1) Does Bob requires access to network drives?

2) Does Bob require access to network drives?

Which one is correct and why?

So just to confirm - When we replying to confirm that the user/someone needs something we use "requires". But if we ask a question then we use require?

But then why did you use Bob does require access to network drives. Why not just use Bob requires?

I did write that as the first example. That is the normal answer. But if you need to say it stronger (a stronger answer) add "do" for emphasis.

A: Does Bob require access to the network drives?

B. Yes Bob requires access to the network drives.

A: Well I'm not so sure. Does Bob really require access to the network drives?

B: Yes! Really, hone
