Requesting information regarding internship, need some help.

Hello everyone, just registered here today and need some help. I'm planning on applying for an internship and writing an email to the coordinator(don't know his/her name) to learn more about the criteria for intern applicants.

This is my first time writing formal emails like this so I'm not very sure on what to do. I have two questions regarding how to write this...

1. I do not know the name of the recipient(the internship coordinator), what's the best way to start the email? Should I use 'To Whom It May Concern' or are there some better ways?

2. The goal of this email is to learn about the criteria for intern applicants, should I use 'please let me know'(I don't think this sounds right, but not sure what to put), or some other more polite ways of saying it?

Thank you very much.
