I guess you can call someone who dislikes someone who "sacrificed" making money in a sport because of a "good" cause; when the same person idolizes people with incredibly bad human rights records and horrific crimes against humanity, wears clothing that depicts police officers as pigs, then is featured as a prominent athlete who "sacrificed" it all for something that he believed in, as confirmation bias.
