Dear ...,

Dear Mr. White,
I am writing to request for the return of the $1,000 deposit when I rented your apartment A1.
When I telephoned your office, I was told that the deposit would be returned if the apartment was vacated clean and undamaged. There were no breakages and damages to your apartment when I left it. As you know, I had properly checked every corner of the room. We had a great time when I lived there. I love that apartment so much and I had a lot of memories of it. That apartment was like my home. But I can not continue to rent it during this COVID-19 and the economy was stagnant, so I need the return of deposit.
I respectfully request that you return of the $1,000 deposit on 20th of December, I need it for my upcoming project. I will seek legal advice if you do not return the deposit to me.
Yours faithfully,
Aries Huynh
