Request for improvement work

Please help me improve the following draft letter to engineering section for improvement work. Thank you.

Dear Mr. Davies and Mr. Connolly,

We refer to a recent joint site meeting with Mr. Owen, the District Mayor, at the town hall plaza. Mr. Owen cited the disappointment of the nearby residents about the absence of fitness equipment for the adult and the children installed at town hall plaza, even though there are surprisingly quite a great deal of fitness equipment for the elderly. Mr. Owen requested us to rectify the current imbalance provision of the fitness equipment by considering to introduce a number of suitable fitness equipment for the adult and the children, with a view to accommodating different age group's need for fitness equipment within the district.

To address Mr. Owen' s and the nearby residents' concern, we wish you could conduct a feasibility study on the installation of fitness equipment for the adult and the children at the plaza. Admittedly, residents won't find very difficult to reach similar equipment in the adjacent park, but there have been a growing need for those equipment in recent years. Hopefully, you could provide us with your feedback on our request and desirably, your preliminary proposal of the installation work by the end of this month. Should you need further information about the matter or a site visit, please feel free to contact me.

Your sincerely,
GH

Hi teechr

we wish you could conduct a feasibility study

Is 'wish' the correct verb? Or should it be 'hope'? Thanks.

You're right, tamguatlay; well spotted! "Hope" is much better than "wish" in that sentence.

Then you have to change the dependent verb form; 'could' is not possible for present:

We hope you can conduct a feasibility study.
