Request for Change of Designation

Dear HO

First of all, my sincere thanks for your understanding and glad that you had recognized me as a senior person with capabilities, skills, knowledge with long 25 years of experience which you have had expressed in the trailing mail.

This is to recall the meeting we had on 13 Feb 2018, wherein I had come up to open up few areas of undermining, lack of transparency etc. One among the issue that I highlighted was the junior most title that I am assigned here after my 25 years of service, under the Team. During the meeting, your verbal response was immediately positive, clarifying that under the organizational structure "That under the NS Unit there will be two senior engineers - one would be myself with the title Sr Sec Admin and the other one will the AA - who already is the Sr N Admin. I take the opportunity to once again wholeheartedly thank you for accepting this, wherein you had clarified that the Employee ID was only for namesake and that I am the Sr. Sec Admin under the NS Team. This is an opportunity for advancement and it would be a huge boost to my self-esteem and so I was very pleased.

Since I don’t belong under SHR payroll, changing my designation does/will not impact on the budget, which means the change would be of no cost to the S. Till date, in my case the junior title is reflected not only in the Employee ID but also in the IT AD. In the meantime, SHR had confirmed that my position was earlier requested by HO and so any change will be based on an official note from the HO. Based on our discussion, I had reflected your response on my Email Signature. And rest remains unofficial, which means a proper intimation have not been made. As my Title in S HR, S Employee ID, S AD all remains the same without any records of change.

Hence, I request you to please consider this as a gentle reminder to make necessary arrangements to formally inform the SHR responsible staff.

I would like to once again thank you for the expression of faith in my abilities that you have exhibited by this gesture and i assure you that I will definitely be an asset to ENS.

Looks like we still have some misunderstanding here. Recently we both talked openly and I explained that you are a senior person and we expect from your ownership and proposition of ideas and enhancements based on your long years of experience.

We know you are capable and can be a great team player so don’t prove me wrong.
