"My mother is not well. There is no one at my home to look after her. I am staying back to nurse her. Therfore, I can not attend the office today."

sundarnazMy mother is not well. There is no one at my home to look after her. I am staying back to nurse her. Therfore, I can not attend the office today.
My mother is not well and has no one else but me to look after her, so I won't be able to come to work today.
