Reptilian beauty/Meaning?

" I hesitate to say that there was a reptilian beauty to him, because that wouldn't quite capture the flush to his skin, the shine to his eyes"

It's rather subjective to find beauty in things, but this refers to the beauty people see in snakes and lizards. For example, snakes have a certain smoothness of the skin and a shininess of the scales as well as the pattern and coloring of the scales. Snakes are sleek and graceful and are often quick and quiet.

  • That aloofness can be part of the beauty, too.
