Reported Speech_The Present Simple Tense

Hello,
could you help, please? I know that sometimes we can leave the Present Simple Tense unchanged in the Reported Speech, for example when we describe states, e.g.
I live in London.
She said that she lives in London.

Where do you work?
He asked where you work.

What about this sentence:
Do you enjoy cooking?
He asked if you enjoy cooking.

I think this sentence is also correct.

Thank you in advance for your help.
