Hello.
I am confused about the usage of reported speech in conditional sentences.
So here's an example...
(Taylor) : I don't like your new outfit because it looks obscure.
a week later
( Me ) : Last week Taylor said she didn't like my new outfit because it looked obscure.
(Adam) : If she hadn't said she doesn't like/didn't like/hadn't liked your outfit, would you be in a better mood today?
I am very unsure which I should choose because there's not much information covering this subject in my book.
I'll be very thankful if you could explain this to me and show me an another example similar to the one above
.
Thank you in advance!
First, let me say that I don't know what you mean by an obscure outfit . You need to find another adjective. a week later ( Me ) : Last week Taylor said she didn't like my new outfit because it looked obscure.
