Reported speech - change the tense

I am learning to do reported speech. When I report what someone said to me, do I have to change all the tenses even if the meeting is next Monday? Are both sentences correct? Thank you teacher.

a) She said she would be available to come in for the meeting next Monday and she requested us to hold the meeting in the late afternoon.

or

b) She said she is available to come in for the meeting next Monday and she requested us to hold the meeting in the late afternoon.
