Reported speech 2 solutions?

This is a sentence out of the Grammar book: "Englische Grammatik" by Elen Henrichs-Kleinen: Abschlusstest: die Zeiten - Aktiv (final test: the tenses - activ)

Jack(to tell) me last Monday that he (to look) after our cat while we (to travel) around England the following week.

The soution of the Grammar book:
Jack told me that he would look after our cat while we were travelling around England the following week.
Direct speech would have been:
I´ll look after your cat while you are travelling around England the following week.

What about the following "solution"?
Jack told me that he would look after our cat while we would be travelling around England the following week.
Direct speech would have been:
I´ll look after your cat while you will be travelling around England the following week.

IS THE SECOND "SOLUTION" also possible?

Thanks a lot!

Both of your examples are correct: The tense used in indirect speech always depends on the tense which was used in direct speech: In your 1st example, the tenses are: "I´ll look (FUTURE) after your cat while you are travelling (PRES. " FUTURE tense shifts back to CONDITIONAL from direct to indirect speech: will look --> would look PRES. PROG.
