I landed in Los Angeles earlier this morning.
He said he had landed in Los Angeles earlier this morning. Someone says this 7 hours later that same day
I know it would usually be "earlier that morning" but it sounds wrong since that day hasn't ended yet. Is my sentence grammatically correct?
This morning is correct if you talk about his arrival on the same day he arrived. That morning would be wrong. CB
