How can i change this quote into reported speech if i...
1. Report it on 11.00 in that morning.
2. Report it on the next day.

I am still curious. In the first situation, can I use the tense which the man said.

The man said he have to finish....

I think, it was just 11.00. So the man was still doing his report and 5.00 was still in the future.
