Reported speech

Hi dear educators,

Would you kindly tell me what the direct sentences are for the following Indirect/reported sentences?

Here are my sentences in reported form:

1(a). Bill says (that) the marathon starts / takes place on 12th of March.

(b). Bill says (that) the marathon started / took place on 12th of March.

(c). Bill says (that) the marathon had started on 12th of March.

2(a). Bill said (that) the marathon starts/takes place on 12th of March.

(b). Bill said (that) the marathon started/took place on 12th of March.

(c). Bill said (that) the marathon had started/had taken place on 12th of March.

Dear teachers, Can I report  what I thought, said, or felt in the past now? Is it possible to report one's own words (which said in the past) or thinking (which was at some point in the past) now.

For example:
When I was a child, my mom used to tell the stories of Alibaba and at that time I always said to my mom "one day I will be as rich as Alibaba."

I know that when we use reported speech, we must have (at least) three people, let's say "A", "B" and "C".  "A" says something to "B" in the past (or before now), and  if "B" wants to tell "C" what "A" said, he/she can do it in two ways:
1st- By putting the exact words of "A" in quotation marks.
2nd- By using reported speech.

But if we want to report what we, ourselves, said or thought in the past now, how can we do that? Is it possible to do that and will this be called reported speech?

 Thank you, teaches.

Direct speech is the actual words, given in quotes. There are various ways of introducing the speaker.
Bill: "The marathon takes place on the 12th March."
Bill says, "The marathon took place on the 12th March."
"The marathon had started on the 12th March." says Bill.

Bill said, "The marathon takes place on the 12th March."
"The marathon took place on the 12th March." –Bil
