Reported speech

Hi teachers,
Would you Please help me with the following?

A says to B
Every day I wake up and say “Today I will do something exciting.”

Now, If “B” wants to report “A’s” words to “C”, how will he do that?

Let’s say “A” is a female;
She said or she told me [that] every day she woke up and said (that) that day she would do something exciting.
Or
She says or tells me [that] every day she wakes up and says (that) this day she will do something exciting.

Would it be okay if I reported the “A’s” words this way? And if yes, kindly tell me what meaning it would convey.

She used to say or tell me that every day she woke up and said she would do something exciting (that day? Or today?)

Thank you teachers.

Laborious(My question is: Can't we keep the original sentence in the present tense while reporting too? )
In real English we can and do, but it 'reported speech' exercises, you cannot.
LaboriousAnd do we need to change the tenses if the original speaker himself/herself reports something said by him/her earlier?
