Reported speech

I just have a question concerning reported speech. When the reported sentence is in the present and there's no backshift, which means that the sentence is still valid in the present, is it logical to change the time expressions? For example, Sara: "I will visit Paris tomorrow.", the logical indirect form is Sara says she will visit Paris tomorrow, NOT "the following day", am I correct? Please give me a quick reply. Thanks in advance.
