Reported speech

I spoke with my friend Mary yesterday. She told me that she had been involved in a car accident two weeks ago. I asked how she was. She said she had been unwell after the accident. She saw her doctor and she was unable to go back to work. She said she is presently on sick leave till end of this year. She further told me that she would be looking for a lawyer. I encouraged her to be strong and to take good care of herself. She said she was worried about her financial situation as her husband's income was not sufficient to meet their family's expenses. She said she had an appointment to see her doctor in the second week of January of next year. She continued to say that she would be busy attending appointments at clinics. I wished her well.
