Hi teachers,
Would you help me with this sentence problem? Thanks.
Let say one of my customers Josha calls.
Josha: Tina, I will come by your office later this afternoon to visit your manager. Will you tell her about this?
Tina: I will.
Josha: I will see you then. Bye Bye.
Tina: See you. Bye Bye.
In this case, after hanging up the phone, should I tell my manager,
1. "Customer Josha said he is coming by our office this afternoon."
2. "Customer Josha says he is coming by our office this afternoon."
3. "Customer Josha said that he was coming by our house this afternoon."
I understand #3 is the reported speech we learned, but #1 and 2 seem to be in everyday's speech.
