I am having real trouble in completing this grammar question, at first glance I believed option 2 and 3 to be correct but now I am not sure.
I found the other questions I have had to complete on reported speech quite easy but I cant seem to grasp this, Am I missing something in my understanding?
There are two options which need to be selected as the appropriate reported speech to "I'll be fine tomorrow", said Mary.
"I'll be fine tomorrow", said Mary.
