Report Writing!

Hello! I need help with my report.
The question says:
Imagine that you are a journalist.You have been asked to interview the yachtswoman. Write a report of the interview for your newspaper. Invent extra details to make your report convincing. Aim for a balance between reported and direct speech.
As I've never written a report before so I would like to know about its format. I need help as soon as possible!
