The purpose of this report is to show crucial factors which are believed to be considered in the career of teacher of English as a foreign language in Brazil.
OPPORTUNITIES AND PERSPECTIVES
It has been pointed out that the Brazilian market has shown a huge demand for professionals in the last five years. Such demand has been widely sustained by the advent of the great global sports events which a are about to be held in the years of 2014 and 2016 respectively: the World Cup and the Olympic Games.
Secondly, not only job satisfaction but also career mobility was given the highest levels of importance during the conference, albeit income has not presented an evolutionary change over the years. Furthermore, as the country has a continental size, teachers shall have a wide range of job offers throughout the national territory. On the whole, market niches such as tourism, business and services are also an enormous market.
