Replying an email

Can I say,

He is replying his friend an email.

He is replying to his friend an email.

He is replying message to his friend through an email.

He is replying and sending an email to his friend.

He is replying an email (to his friend).

None of those is quite correct. You could say:- He is replying to his friend's email. [It would be assumed that the response was also by email, unless something else was specified] He is replying to his friend by email.
