I received an email from recruiter couple weeks ago and I found it in my junk mailbox.
I would like to reply his email and I wonder this is ok with grammer and polite enough.
Please let me know any improvements that I needed.

I would like to apologize for not being able to answer your e-mail in a timely fashion. University email used to filter outside of campus emails but I recently found your mail from filtered inbox.

I would also appreciate the chance to personally introduce myself to you. I am from South Korea; I came to the United States almost nine years ago in order to finish high school and Bachelors degree. I have a strong desire of finding a job in the United States.

Regarding my plans, I will finish my studies in May 2013. I currently working for University of Iowa College of Engineering as a web developer and also volunteering as a Webmaster for University of Iowa Solar Car Team. In addition, my friend and I developed mobile application, which named “ZZZ”, and it is currently available on the Appstore.
