Hi,

If I am being asked in French (I don't speak it, but a translator says that it is, and I see a question mark) and want to reply in English, are these sentences natural?

I hope you get an answer from someone understands/speaks French.
I hope someone understands/speaks French answers your question.

Thank you.

These responses do not seem natural to me.
I'd say eg I'm sorry, but I don't speak French. I hope someone who does answers you.

What do you mean by 'the translator'?

Thank you!
I mean Google translate (website). I am not sure if I can explain well, but they have another function that they tell us which language it is when enter text. Should I use other words instead of 'translator'?

No, but I would have understood more easily if you had said 'the Google translator'. I thought for a moment that you were referring to a human interpreter.
