Replies to "How are you?"

00I was taught many years before that the reply to "How are you?" is "I'm fine. Thank you. And you?" 02br
00Is this still the typical reply from native speakers nowadays? It seems to me that "Good" is more commonly heard. And is there any difference between Americans and British? 0-

0Thanks, GG. The reason I asked is because someone told me that "fine" is no longer used by native speakers. Only non-native still say "fine" because they are taught to do so. It seems that this information is incorrect. 0-
