Replacing names while reading

It is often that while reading to others we can't say foreign names correctly. For instance, if we want to read the following passage without saying people's or place names (Could I say people or place's names?), how could it be said? Thanks.

"Nobody wants to die, we just wanted to threaten the authorities," says Shankar Khadse, one of the seven farmers of Wadad village in Wardha district, "to seek permission to commit suicide from the district collector."

  • If anybody knows better, please let me know'.

You can't read a passage with names without saying the names. There is no solution except to guess how to say the names.

Thanks. Suppose I am reading to you my local news and the names of people or places are not that important for you to understand what's happening in general. Is it then possible to read by saying 'so and so' or 'such and such' instead of the names?

Now I know how to paraphrase it or else would go ahead pronouncing consistently throughout. I appreciate the answers.
