Replace a lesson

Hello. I would like to ask you sth on vocabulary. If our tutor cancelled a scheduled lesson, is it correct to say "when are we going to replace that lesson we missed"? Is the verb replace correct in this context and are there any idioms as well for this case?

I would appreciate your answer.
