As I said before, no one is perfect. But who said one cant be perfect in one's own way? Who am I to judge?

It makes sense right? Would it be too much to say But who am I to judge. It's my closing sentence to my college essay.

I just have one change to Clive's version. Can't is a contraction.
It makes sense to me!

As I said before, no one is perfect. But who said one can't be perfect in one's own way? Who am I to judge?

Hi,

A-stars is right about the apostrophe in can't.

But if it's a college-level essay, in my experience contracted forms should not be used at all. Write it out in full.

Thank you both! One more that I am having trouble with

Every opportunity that is handed to me, I try to make it above and beyond, making it memorable, and to always remember to believe in myself.

I know it probably does not make sense, that is why I'm stuck

Hi,

Try to say it another way, Perhaps use two sentences instead of one.

Every opportunity that is handed to me, I try to make it above and beyond, making it memorable, and to always remember to believe in myself.

Here is another version:

I exploit every opportunity that is handed to me to the maximum extent possible, going above and beyond the crowd, making it memorable, and all the while remembering to believe in myself.

That is perfect! Thanks so much!
