Rephrase

1. John is certain to please Mary.

2. It is certain that John pleases Mary.

3. John appears to please Mary.

4. It appears that John pleases Mary.

#1 and #3 can be rephrased to #2 and 4 respectively.

5. It happend to snow.

6. It turned out to be false.

I wonder if #5 and 6 can be rephrased.
