I am studying Repetition, synonymy, antonymy, hyponymy, co-hyponymy, meronymy, co-meronymy and I was little confused with this paragraph:
People would probably cook their food on open fires and most food would be homemade. There wouldn’t be any factories to mass produce things||like processed food, ready meals, metal cans, plastic wrapping, and lots of other stuff.This would mean|| there would be less fizzy drinks, canned food, sweets, ready-made food, and most shops would probably make their products by hand. They wouldn’t have any fridges or freezers as they use electricity and food|| like meat would have to be salted|| to be preserved and other food, like bread, would have to be stored in a pantry.

Sorry, I didn't explain. I did a cohesion chain. So food to food is repetition, food to homemade is meronymy etc...

ZBHSorry, I didn't explain. I did a cohesion chain. So food to food is repetition, food to homemade is meronymy etc...But homemade is an adjective. It can apply to clothes, jewelry, toys, etc.

can they only be nouns? I was doing it so homemade is a TYPE of food category- like it's explaining that food could be homemade, processed etc.

ZBHI was doing it so homemade is a TYPE of food categoryIt seems a bit of a stretch. Food types seem to me to be things like meat, grains, vegetables, and fruit, not the method of preparation.
