Repetition of "the"

Hello,

Could you please tell me if the following sentence is correct in terms of repetition of "the"?

- The club is the core of my project in that it promotes the gathering, the diffusion and the use of the words that make up my dictionary of original words.

Should I avoid repeteating it?
- [...] it promotes the gathering, diffusion and use of....

Well, Henry, you have one voice in favour of the article so far, and one against. My vote is against, but I have no strong objection to 'the' being used there. It's certainly not incorrect.

To my mind, repeating 'the' adds emphasis to the words 'diffusion' and 'use'.

Seeing that it's a matter of style, I guess I'll go for the version that sounds better to me.
Now I just have to decide which one it is.
