(1) I want to eat a beef sandwich for lunch two days , two mini pizzas three days and spaghetti the rest next week. (my original example)
(2) I want to eat a beef sandwich for lunch two times and two mini pizza for lunch three times and spaghetti for lunch the rest of next week. (my friends' revision)
My non-native English speaking friends have pointed out four mistakes in my original example. The mistakes are:
(A) "times" is better than "days"
(B) "pizza" cannot be pluralized because it's uncountable
(C) "for lunch" needs repeating to make things clearer
(D) I missed "of" in "the rest of the week".
What is your opinion? Thank you very much for your time and help.
ansonguy (A) "times" is better than "days" Not in my opinion. ansonguy (B) "pizza" cannot be pluralized because it's uncountable A mini pizza is certainly one item, therefore countable. it is one small pie.
