Hello,You should not speak and not write.You should not speak and write.Do you have to repeat NOT twice to make sure that you mean that you should not speak but you can write?What I want is the sentence saying that you should not speak/write.

I'm really confused about what you want.

If you wish to prohibit both, I'd say, "You should not speak or write."

OR "You should neither speak nor write."

If you wish to prohibit speaking but allow writing, I'd say, "You should not speak, but write." (It's a little unusual.)

"You should write, not speak" also works.

It would probably go better with some context.
