Rent

Hello,

I have a house which I don't use , but want to give some one in order to earn some money.

How shall I write this in a sentence?

The following are my way of writing the same.

1.I want to rent my house
2.I want to rent my house to them.

Now the situation something different. I am in a city where I don't have my own house, but I want a house to use it and pay for that.

I rent a house to live.

Could anyone give some more example using the word 'rent'?

Thanks.

If you give someone something, then it is a gift—there is no money involved...unless you give someone some money.
