Remotelly controlled/commanded

Is it standard to say:


"The machine is remotely controlled."



While at this, and do people ever say:


"The machine is remotely commanded."

They seem to be two different things for the most part. A remote-control device is operated from a distance in real time, and a remotely commanded one is autonomous but can receive commands from a distance.
