Hi

For example somebody tells me about an old friend and I say: I can't remind myself of him.

--- Is it correct to say that when I cannot remind myself/recollect/remember how the given person looks like?

'Remind' is not correct. Reminding usually involves something 'outside' the person.



eg Tom reminded Mary about something.

I know it's OK to say "I can't remember him" and "I don't remember him" but is it also OK to say "I don't recollect/recall him"
