He reminded me of his birthday.

I think the type of the verb remind is very unique for me. (V+O+Preposition)

Remind me of is unusaul for me. But I appreciate you adding others too.

I wonder what can be different between:

he told me of/about his adventures,

he had a dream about her. (I don't think not all the examples of of pattern can be replaced with about, can they?
