Remember/remind

Hello.
I would like to be sure about the use of remember/remind..
Could you help me?

I know we can say :
1. I've just remembered that it's my friend's birthday today.
2. I can't remember her name...I know I used to know it..

We can't say:
3. I've just reminded that it's my friend's birthday today.
4. I can't remind her name..I know I used to know it..

is that right?

Thank you! Emotion: smile
Kind regards.

Yes, you're actually right.
You normally remind someone to do something:

I reminded him to send her a card.
I reminded you to not replace remember with remind.
