Remembering-reminding

Hi!
This is another question
He doesn't like ......... A)Remembering ....of it.It was a long time ago.
B)reminding
C)to remember
D)to be reminded
My answer is "A", as it says that something happened a long time ago,the other verbs reminding and to be reminded are out.

I'd use D), "to be reminded."

A) doesn't work with the "of."

If you remove the "of," then A) and C) work.

He doesn't like remembring it.
He doesn't like to remember it.
He doesn't like to be reminded of it.

The gerund and the infinitive are often interchangeable, as in A) & C).
