Soheil, you asked me to comment on this. In my opinion, without any further context, it most likely means what upee543 says. If previously (say in an earlier chapter of a book) the author had explained the importance of open files in closed positions, I guess it could mean "bring back to mind".

I cannot find such an expression as 'open files are important in closed positions'.
Just that 'open files is repeated several times in the 2 last chapters:

I agree that it means 'Keep in mind'.

If we want someone to 'bring something back to mind', we don't normally issue the imperative 'Remember'. Perhaps this is because you can't 'bring something back to mind' simply because you are ordered to.
Instead, we say eg 'Try to remember'.
