Remember his suffering a heart attack/prolonged illness culminating in his demise.

Dear all,

I would like to know whether the following sentences are correct.

1) I remember his suffering a heart attack and we saw him at St Thomas Mission Hospital, Kattanam.

2) He had a protracted illness culminating in his demise after being admitted in District Hospital, Kollam.
