Remember

1. Remember how I was in Canada for a year?

Is this sentence correct and native? Thanks!

Yes-- however, I hope you realize that your last few posts have been of quite informal, conversational English. This sentence is fine, but it would never be acceptable in formal composition. Asking whether an isolated sentence is 'natural' can lead to a very dangerous confidence.

I don't understand?

Remember how I was in Canada for a year. What exactly does this sentence mean? Why is there a how and does it mean how I had to stay in Canada or how I got to Canada?

Please explain. Thank you!

Here, 'how' means 'that'. As I said, it is informal, even casual.

Mister Micawber,

So basically:

Remember that I was in Canada for a year. And

Remember, I was in Canada for a year. And

Remember how I was in Canada for a year.

All mean the same thing?
