Remarks

The text contains also practical remarks on travelling around Scotland.

Can I use the word "REMARKS" in this case? I want to say that it contains pieces of information about local transport, shopping, sports facilities etc.

Thank you.

Try "advice" or "guidance" or even "notes."

And the preposition to use is "on"? It also contains practical guidance on travelling around Scotland.
