Relaxing SIESTA

How many people practise the SIESTA? Is a spanish word, but I supose in other countries people use too. How do you say this word in your language?
SIESTA means a little sleep, usually before lunch. Is the best moment in the day! I have 1 hou and half to lunch at home (from 13.30 to 15.00h) and when I finished to have lunch, I lie on the sofa and sleep 15minutes.
Some people say I'm crazy, because after we should be more tired, but for me is necessary, I return to my job rested.
And you? What do you think? You sleep a little during the day?

I'm interested to know your customs!

Something I find most regrettable at work after a big lunch!
