Would you please correct my exercise ?
Read the following paragraphs. Decide which relative pronoun is correct and fill in each blank. Then decide which clauses are restrictive and which are nonrestrictive. Add commas where necessary. If there are two blanks, add the necessary preposition.
Hawaii is a state 1 WHICH / THAT is composed of many islands in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.

Kilauea and Mauna Loa 7 WHICH / THAT are both active volcanoes are located within the boundaries of a national park. In this park is the Hawaiian Volcano Observatory 8 WHICH / THAT was established in 1911. This agency studies volcanoes and tries to predict eruptions. Whenever an eruption occurs, many sightseers rush to see it. Some even fly in small planes in order to get a closer view of the eruption.

To tell you the truth, I knew before sending you this message that I should normally use "THAT" in # 1, 2, 7 and 8 because it introduces a defining relative clause. But if I inserted "WHICH" too, it was just to see if that relative pronoun could be accepted in such constructions too or if it should only be used in non-defining relative clauses.
