I'm confused, isn't comparison a requirement to use the word "relatively" as well? You cannot "relate" something with nothing.

Well, now that you mention it, it seems an expression like "relatively easier" is redundant, so it should always be "relatively easy". Does that sound reasonable?

They seem strange to me. I wouldn't use them. Whichever corpus you check, the number of hits for "relatively easier" is always much lower than the number for "relatively easy". fraze.it only had 24 for "relatively easier". It looks like most people don't like them.
