Relative Pronouns with prepositions?

Hi,

Famous actor played Captain Richard Phillips in the movie inspired by the 2009 Maersk Alabama hijacking, during which merchant mariner Captain Phillips was taken hostage by pirates in the Indian Ocean led by Abduwali Muse.

A) which
B) in which
C) on which
D) at which
E) during which

Which one(s) should I choose in this context? I think "in which" and "during which" is OK. I also wonder if "where" is suitable for this blank or not? I need a brief explanation here.

Thank you.
