relative pronouns

I came across the following sentece and I am afraid it is not correct:

If I were a cop, I would give tickets in situations when the drivers are speeding or talking on their cell phones.

I think I should write in which in the place of when. Am I right? Do you happen to have any other suggestion?

Thanks Emotion: smile

when isn't the worst choice in the world! where is also possible. in which , as you say, is also possible.

  • when isn't the worst choice in the world!
  • where is also possible.
  • in which , as you say, is also possible.
  • I would just remove in situations , thus: If I were a cop, I would give tickets when drivers are speeding or talking on their cell phones.
