Relative pronoun

In the following two sentences, could I use the relative pronoun 'whom' and 'who' after comma?

a. The happy couple welcomed a son, Robert Wiedemann Barrett Browningmn, whom they lovingly called Pen.

b. The happy couple welcomed a son, Robert Wiedemann Barrett Browningmn, who they lovingly called Pen.
